How to Measure Your Foot

  1. Place a piece of paper on a hard floor, against a wall.
  2. Stand on the paper with your heel against the wall. Wear the socks you would normally wear with the footwear.
  3. Mark the longest part of your foot on the paper.
  4. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimeters or inches.
  5. Use this measurement to find your size in the conversion chart above.

Tips: Measure both feet and use the larger measurement. Feet tend to be largest at the end of the day, so that’s the best time to measure.

Are European shoe sizes the same for men and women?

European shoe size charts use a standardized measurement system based on Paris Points (1 point = 2/3 cm), while US size charts use the Barleycorn scale (1 size = 1/3 inch). European charts are also unisex, whereas US charts have separate men’s and women’s scales, making European shoe size to US conversion more straightforward with a proper chart.
